Flower companions is a new service provided by Sarah’s Country Blooms. As many of you know, I have a background in adult nursing.

I wanted to introduce a service that combines certain aspects of my experience from my nursing days and my love for floristry- I want to share the holistic benefits of being creative with flowers alongside providing companionship to those who might appreciate it.

Flowers, creativity, and meaningful conversation can have an uplifting effect on emotional wellbeing. This gentle social connection can reduce loneliness, isolation and embraces a seasonal connection to nature.

I offer scheduled, relaxed home visits centered around conversation and arranging flowers for the client to keep and enjoy. I will share my skills with conditioning the flowers, and using different methods to arrange them. Each visit is tailored specifically to the individual - whether it be their favourite flowers, scents or colours that evoke memories, encourage conversation, and create a calm, uplifting experience that supports emotional wellbeing.

Flower companions was created by Sarah, founder of Sarah’s Country Blooms. With a background in nursing and a love of floristry, Sarah wanted to create meaningful visits that combine creativity, companionship and connection through flowers.

Sarah holds an up to date PVG adult certificate and is fully insured for home visits.
